Magnetic Poem

High school infatuation,
A mysterious, complex, never-ending story of secrets,
Depression
and sometimes,
Dishonest experiments.
Slurred words are weapons for rejection.

Random Word Poem

Sorrowful Slate
I approached the wayward pebble,
Each step becoming more timid.
I longed to make this an intimate situation
For the shard of slate seemed skittish.
I envied his honesty,
Embarrassed by my sad excuse of self expression.
I fell to my knees at the trembling pebble,
Between us a union formed,
One closely resembling a quivering child,
And its mother,
A blanket of comfort shielded us.
Tempted by his honesty, I spilled my woes,
And as they washed over him,
The pebble calmed.
No longer was he alone.

Olfactory Love

I’d love to collect your breaths,
To hold them in my lungs,
And experience you,
Tangled within me.
Let the scent of you
Mix with my own.
As one we’d form
Something resembling,
The scent of love.
